iPod Touch 3G problem with blackra1n tethered booting
hi, i got a problem here with my itouch 3g. last night, i fell asleep with it on so i think it ran out of battery. anyway, when i woke up, it was off, and upon turning it on it went to the recovery screen (note: its blackra1ned on 3.1.2) and i ran blackra1n on it. geohot's picture came, went super bright, and the screen went black...im thinking it turned off. i turned it on again and tried again, but to no avail. please help me with this ASAP.

If you are running itunes 9.1 then you will need to Blackra1n your iPod touch a slightly different way. Add the Blackra1n.exe file to:
C: \Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Apple\Apple Application Support
then try running it again.
It sounds to me Blackra1n is not working.

i hate itunes so i removed it, which left me with the apple mobile device usb driver, so its still recognized by blackra1n. and yeah, my blackra1n has been in there and is causing this. i think imma try copying over ASL.dll into a new directory with blackra1n.
but thanks for pointing out that blackra1n isnt working, i wouldnt have thought of that (no sarcasm intended)
EDIT
k so i put them in a new directory and it kept asking for sum other dll and i kept copying it over, and finally it opened up without asking for a dll....but it still didnt work.
