    Default How to jailbreak iPod Touch 2g without losing music, data, or apps?

    I need to jailbreak an iPod Touch 2g on 3.1.3 firmware but I've never used iTunes and I don't want to because its frustrating.

    How to I jailbreak (doesn't matter tethered or untethered) without losing the 7 GB of stuff I have on here?

    Agree with Marlon. Use spirit. All it does it put Cydia on your system and you're good to go.

    Yeah I agree. The only thing you should know is that if you want to go back to regular firmware before an upgrade comes out (which I don't know why you would) is that you have to restore your ipod back to factory firmware.
