    Unhappy Help! "Crash" Issue

    Hi,

I'm new to the forums here, and find this place pretty cool, but was wondering if I could have some help.

Every time I boot my iPod Touch, I get the Apple logo, fine and dandy. After a few seconds, it shuts down. I've plugged it in via USB and through an AC Adapter, too. Even though it is supposed to automatically turn on, it shuts off after a few seconds. Is it a virus? Do I need a new battery? Anyone wanna help?

    P.S, I'm running firmware 3.1.2, on Windows XP, with iTunes version 9 (I think). I used a blackra1n jailbreak.

I think that's it. Hope someone can get back to me soon. Thanks.

Did you tried to put your device in recovery mode? Is it falling off when its in that mode? If not, you need to restore. Thats the simplest solution.

Problem is, it does turn off to early to go into recovery mode. Sometimes, it will show a quick flash of the connect to iTunes screen. It won't stay on long enough for the computer or iTunes to recognize it. Any other suggestions?
