Question regarding ipod touch 3g on 4.0

I have a quick question, im currently using ipod touch 3g on 3.1.3 firmware (accidently updated), i was wondering that if i updated to 4.0 (beta) could i jailbreak it? i miss cydia!!

idont know bout that but you can always try downgrading.

The betas that are out now are very buggy to a lot of people. Some don't have issues. Also not all the jailbreak apps are updated to run on 4.0 either so you may run into issues there too.
