@hocja: Yeah, download the 3.1.2 from the link below and be sure to choose the bottom drop down selection iPhone / iPod Touch and scroll all the way down in the list and choose iPod Touch 2G (if you have the 2G) 3.1.2.

Download the file (be sure to backup in iTunes before doing all of this) and then once it's done. Open iTunes and click your device name on the left side, hold down the SHIFT key (or if you're on an Apple the Command or Apple key) and click Restore.

A pop up dialog will appear and you will locate the downloaded 3.1.2 file and click open and it will downgrade it to the 3.1.2. Remember, BACK UP BEFORE DOING THIS! You have been warned.

Here's your link: iPod and iPhone Firmware Download

I have a 2G iTouch model # is A1288. I recently upgraded to 3.1.3. It has never been jail broken before, how can I jailbreak it now? The video above does not load for me, (it's blocked here in China).

^ You must first downgrade to 3.1.2 than jailbreak with backra1n

If you wanna thank me hit "Thanks" in the lower right of my post. If you think that I am a useless git feel free to say so.
