1st gen itouch broken wont turn on

i bought a broken 1st gen and trying to fix it, try dfuhelper, but no luck anything else i can do??? pls help

Turn on? Like there is no boot screen? Or do you get the restore screen?

it just dont do anything, try dfuhelper, but no luck, anything else in mind...just need it to light up or something. can you guy hekp???

Dude....do you know how many different problems could cause this. It could be software or it could be a hundred different hardware issues....

Or it could be completely dead.

But if it wont charge or isnt recognized by a PC....your pretty much screwed.

PS- And nobody is going to be able to tell you without seeing it.

plug it in the charger yesterday, but no clue if i know it charge, any other idea to find how to light up, or just anything...

it all adding up, 1st when i plug my iphone hair a cick to the comp, try my 2nd gen again hair a cick, but when i try to plug in the broken 1st gen no cick or anything..cause dfu should work rite. so i think it the charging port. what do you guy think???

To properly diagnose the problem...the touch needs to be disassembled, inspected and probed.

Yeah it could be the dock assembly (charging port) or the flex cable....or any number of a thousand things on the mainboard itself...or the battery....or....or....or.....

nono, thanks for the addvice..not being rude you told me and i check it and last choice is to get it check out...but i did try out my iphone and my 2nd gen and everytime i plug up those two i hear something. but when i plug up the 1st gen i bought yesterday no sound no charge no nothing, so im thinking it could just be as simple charging port, well i hope it that easy. do anyone here itouch just dead dont forget it a 1st gen could just be a batt hey?
