if i update my jailbroken ipod 3.0 to 3.12 what will happen

i jailbroke my ipod to 3.0 with redsnow now whenever i open itunes im told to update my ipod to 3.12 if i update it will it mess up the jail break or have any other problem

Nothing out of the ordinary will come of your device, but you will have to rejailbreak and re-install all of your jailbroken apps (their data, unless stored elsewhere, will be lost).
