    Question Need advice on upgrading 2G iTouch to 3.1.2

    Hi,

    Currently have a 2G iTouch on 2.2.1 FW which I want to Jailbreak

    Is there any reason I should NOT upgrade to the latest firmware via iTunes?

    If its ok to upgrade to the latest Firmware, then is there anything I need to do before i Upgrade?

    You'll have to redo all of your jailbroken applications and some might not be available on the 3.1.2 firmware. And if you want it legally, it's $10.
