Hey Guys,

I currently have a Ipod Touch 3G myself. From what I understand, is that BlackRain, does not fully Jailbreak the Device. Everytime, you reboot it or make go to Sleep....it gives you the Itunes Logo.


Is there any Programs out there currently that fully work?

Blackrain does FULLY jailbreak Its called a tethered jailbreak.. honestly how many people reset their iTouches and turn them off.. most people just put them to sleep.. putting the itouch to sleep does not cause the touch to need to be rebooted with blackra1n.. just dont turn it off.. its that simple..

Never turning off your ipod touch? won't that affect the battery life? hope not....when will the chronic dev team have the untethered version?

turning off the ipod for short amounts of time uses a lot more power than expected

I have 2g touch, 3g iPhone, 3gs iPhone and a new 32 3g touch all have been jailbroken. They have all worked very well using blackrain with cydia and rock and winterboard. Except the 3g touch after adding certain apps from cydia or rock it need to be rejailbroken over and over and skype always has problems after the jailbreak. But the other 3 devices are good. I would say there is not yet a proper jailbreak yet for the 3g touch.

Jailbroke my iTouch 8gig 3g with Blackrain successfully but when I tried to install Winterboard, SSH, Weathericon, basically anything from Cydia it reboots anfter installing and I KEEP GETTING the iTunes restore logo. How do I fix this, someone please help!

um, yeah, the jailbreak is pretty buggy.
but i havent had reboot problems useing the Rock app, but that is because it doesnt make you reboot, unlike cydia. if you REALLY want to use cydia, there are ways to bypass the reboot, i.e. force cydia to quit and then just respring.


but recently the speed dropped dramatically.

get a thing off cydia called sbsettings. when you slide ur finger across the top of ur screen it will allow you to respring ur device. when you install winterboard it will tell you to reboot, dont do that just slide ur finger across the top

Well, tried installing from Rock app and got the iTunes restore logo again and tried the sbsetting and the same thing happened. No matter what I install from either from Cydia or Rock it reboots. WTF! Thanks for the suggestions but is there any or ideas?
