Touch wont turn on

Ok got this I-pod touch from my friend he bought it in America im in jamaica the Touch just wont turn on tryed every possible thing the computer dont recognize it at all and when i leave it plug in
for about 1hr the back just get warm. it wast jailbroken

1. computer dont recognize it at all
2. wont turn on,i-tunes dont recognize it
3. I hold the power and home button for about 50seconds still dead

why do u guys suggest

What kind of computer you have. What iTunes version you using might need to up date iTunes or put iPod on dfu mode and restore maybe will detect it

im using the latest version and my computer was made by myself it just still now going into dfu mode

yes i know how to put it into dfu mode and it still not coming on and i tryed it on my bro laptop.

yes did that and still didnt come on
