iTouch 1G Unable to Upgrade to Latest Firmware

Hey...

Im on the 1st Generation iTouch version: 1.1.5 and I just downloaded 3.1.2 and here's the error I get. I read these instructions here: [ HOW TO ] Jailbreak iPod Touch with redsn0w | 1G/2G | OS X

Redsn0w currently does not support 3.1.2.

I tried to do the update by click on;

option + click = browser for the firmware from itunes and i got this error.

1) There's no such thing as an 'iTouch'

2) You can't unlock an iPod Touch...
3) If you mean jailbreak, there is currently no jailbreak available for 3.1.2

Not sure if im doing it right... but i think im uploading it with Pwnage but it might be 3.1.1

Im just in itunes now doing whatever the below menu is telling me to do hahaha
