Please help! I just got an ipod touch from a friend and I am attempting to restore it to start from scratch. Right now the ipod is stuck in connect to itunes mode. I attempted to do a restore but it's saying that the ipod has a password and itunes can not access the ipod. Well because it is stuck in itunes connect mode, I can not enter a password. Please help. I don't care if all everything on the ipod currently is lost. Those were my intentions anyways.

Place it into DFU mode then restore.
