Update iPod Touch 3.0 Firmware For Free (How to)

I'm still a little confused. I have a second gen iPod Touch and I just jailbroke it on 3.0.

So on Wednesday i went onto iTunes (with the full intention of paying for the 3.0 Firmware) and clicked check for updates and then clicked Download Only.

A few days later (today), I go back into iTunes and restore from the firmware that I downloaded on Wednesday...for free.

I guess Apple just likes me. :P
