Ipod touch 2g FW2.2.1 Q.

Alright, so I have an Ipod touch 2g and I have it jailbroken, its the tethered version and I just wanted to know if there is a way that I can get the untethered version on it and still keep all my 3rd party apps, cracked apps, etc. on it.

You can untether it, but not without restoring, which will rid you of all the apps (until you reload them).

What he means by reloading them is by syncing them back over using itunes if you transferred purchases or if not then use AppStore on your iphone.
