DFU then restore to wipe all traces off. It voids your warranty. But with a restore, they dont know that

Couple of questions

A restore does that take everything off of the ipod/iphone(like music, apps, videos)

Then how long does it take to jailbreak with the pwnage tools

Lastly when itunes backs up your ipod is it creating a restore firmware/point if so should i not back up my ipod when i jailbreak it

i jailbroke an ipod for my friend
he broke it
called apple and told them it was jailbroken
they sent him a box to send it back in
i fixxed it for him
therefore i dont think they actually care

A restore takes everything off, but you can resync music photos and that stuff back.

If you follow a guide, probably around 15-20 minutes.

It doesnt matter if you backup. Wont do anything. But apple does care ^. So restore if you are going in.
