okay, my girlfriend bought me the ipod 2g 32gb for christmas, it went into recovery mode after 3 days. took it back to the store and got a new one and after 2 weeks it messed up.
my screen is blank, no sound, but when i plug it into itunes it says its in recovery mode, but wont restore, tells me my itune version isnt high enough, but its at the current version. i dont get whats wrong, it just did this out of nowhere

oh and i havent even tried to jailbreak it yet

sorry to hear your trouble, am not an expert however, maybe BTEAMER could advise you, if he reads this post as i know he is an expert, or one of the other experts could advise you, but i think your problem is fixable...good luck

just hold the power and home buttons for 10 seconds then let go

then try and boot it
