does anyone know why when I download the themes I get the icons but that the backgrounds dont come with it? am I doing something wrong or not doing something at all?

could be a couple of reasons. First off what version are you running 1.1.3? Regardless there is a couple of things you can do/check. If you havent turned off your ipod completely since you installed smbpref then do that, also make sure in the settings of smb that you have the wallpaper switched on

have already done all that as for the ver, i'm running 1.1.1, i cannt figure it out, i've tryed everything really need some help this is driving me crazy

You need to be running summerboard (old); it works best with 1.1.1

Also some themes do not come with backgrounds.
