Help Please I Have a Problem and im new to the forum

Ok so basically two friends and I were hanging out and we all have jailbroken iPhone 3G's. I decided to hit the Erase all content and settings button to see if my jailbreak would go away(my phone has been dropping calls like its its job) and it took about an hour to load but now its just the screen with the pineapple on it and once and a while it flashes. I tried connecting to the computer but nothing happens.

Any help would be real great
Thanks,Justin

Well, now you know not to try things like that. You can put it in the computer and put the device in recovery mode (hold the home button until it gives the restore picture, but only if it is detected by your computer). If it is not, then you must put it into DFU (Device Firmware Update) mode and restore. To get into DFU:
1. Turn the device off
2. Plug it into the computer
3. Hold the power and home buttons for 10 seconds (exactly)
4. Release the power button but hold onto the home button until it is detected by the computer
5. A window will pop up saying, "There is a device detected in recovery mode and needs to restore", continue and restore in iTunes

When you have large problems like that, look up a solution or when in doubt, restart the device and if that doesn't work restore and re-jailbreak (if wished).

P.S. This is the section for iPod Touch problems. If you have problems or questions in the future, post in the iPhone section of our forums.

Actually, you don't have to restore to fix it. See my post here for instructions on how to get your iPhone back. And yes, I would listen to Jeckel about the forums. Post in iPhone.
