I have a 1.1.5 version ipod touch and i jailbroke it fine the first time. my brother got on and uninstalled my installer so i restored my ipod and that didnt work. I sent my ipod to apple and they sent me a new one because i had a problem with the earphone jack. I tried jailbreaking that and the installer is still uninstalled on my new ipod. how do i fix this??? if you use certain terms, please wxplain what they are...

You need to give A LOT more info. What are you using to try and jailbreak? Why doesn't it work... what error is it giving you? What firmare version are you on? Etc etc etc!!

Because they sent you a new one, did they send you the new iPod? If so, you can't jailbreak it yet. That's the only thing I can think of now due to the information you've given.

No, they didnt send me the 2nd gen...

i used ZiPhone to jailbreak my version 1.1.5. i can jailbreak my ipod, but the installer wont install anything. I cant even refresh my sources. I went to the uninstall icon and, from my last jailbreak with my other ipod, it still shows that BSD Subsystem is uninstalled, the installer itself is uninstalled, and Open SSH is installed. this is what i am trying to get rid of and fix.
