i went to the Apple store a few days ago, because it broke, and they gave me a new one. I plugged it into the computer set it up and worked perfectly. It then turned of and when i turned it on it stayed on the plug into itunes picture. I can;t restore and can't get the picture off. HELP!?!??!?!?!?!

go into DFU mode to restore.
1. Plug into computer
2. Hold power and home for exactly 10 secs
3 release power and keep holding home
4. Your screen should stay blank and iTunes should pop up saying it detected an iPod in restore mode and it needs to be restored.

i have tried that before but it wont go into DFU mode

Keep trying to get the ipod into DfU mode.

What do you mean it cant get into DFU? Tell us what is wrong. It's probably something you're doing.

i hold it for 10 seconds but it turns off at seven and turns on a second later

then hold for eight or nine. It's supposed to turn of somewhere around there, and you should be releasing the power right before the screen turns back on.

hey,

Hold the power for 5 seconds, without letting go, after those 5 seconds start holding the home button as well and do this for 10 seconds, so now u r holding the power and the home button. After those 10 secs release the power button and keep holding home until the computer recognizes it.

by the way, ur itouch should be off
