The dev team is putting the 3g soft unlock before the 2nd gen jailbreak, but they set a hesitant date of new years eve for the soft unlock, so im guessing sometime in Jan. Feb. but i could be completely off.

i bought an iPod 2g and i updated it to 2.2.1 but i cant use quickpwn or pwnage tool i dont know why and i just wanna jail brake it :S

No offense, but you sound like you have no idea what you're doing, and the dev-team said to not even attempt the 2g jailbreak if you're inexperienced. They said they will offer no help at all, and will ban your IP from their site if you ask questions there. The normal quickpwn and pwnagetool wont work for a 2g. Just wait for an easier, stabler release to come out.

I have 1G ipod touch and I did Jailbreak it before with QuickPwn for 2.0

Now, I did upgrade to 2.2.1 and tried to Jailbreak it with the latest QuickPwn (which I used to Jailbreak my 2.2.1 iphone), but when it found the firmware iPod1.1_2.2.1 it sayes either file is corrupted or not supported by QuickPwn.

Please your support....

Use Quickfreedom, don't use QuickPown as it's a pain and mostly used for iPhone. Search the forum or Google for Quickfreedom.

I tryed, but in the process of copying the original firmware file I receive a message "Firmware Error, Unable to copy".....

it worked; I did re-download the Firmware from Modmyi.com and it worked

That sounds like a firmware issue. You should re-download the firmware, and make sure that it's the RIGHT firmware for you device, (iPod/iPhone) and firmware (2.0/2.0.1/2.0.2/2.1/2.2/2.2.1)...
