How do you use ziPhone for a 8GB iPod touch? My Touch has 1.1.3 firmware and I don't know what to check. I don't want to accidentally screw it up.

yup u can do it,i use version 2.4 the aone that has GUI and i have jailbreak 3 itouch without any problem

Well using ziphone on some ipod touchs can cause problems. Zibri is working on a safe version for the ipod touch and is currently testing it.

Does it work with the brand-new bug-fixing de-jailbreaking 1.1.4 firmware?

only version 2.4 but most of the apps dont work on 1.1.4, so if you already upgraded then check the forums cuz there is a way to downgrade back to 1.1.3

so i tried to use the ziphone way of jailbreaking but after it did its thing, no installer app showed up on my ipod. did i do something wrong or miss something?

I found it. I just hit jailbreak. Wasn't sure about activate, but that's only for the phone duh.

yeah, activate is for the iphone so you don't need to do that one. Only the jailbreak button pertains to you and your itouch
