Bricked Touch after installing from Cydia
Everytime I try to install the first app from Cydia or Installer, all seems to go well until I restart the springboard.
The Ipod Touch looks like its restarting the springboard but then just freezes, the only way to get the ipod back is to do a full restore.
What am I doing Wrong???

You're doing nothing wrong, this happens more than they'd like you to think. Cydia is far from being the dreamy tool most people says it is.
Get "iPod & iTunes for Dummies", it'll change your life.

Same with me, everytime I install/unistall something, I can browse Cydia but the "home" button on my iPhone will not take me back to the homescreen, the only time it will is when the circle in bar at top next to wifi/edge stops spinning, which is very rarely. So after a bit iPhone will crash causing me to do a force restart 95% of the time

okay heres the problem. When you start your iPhone/iPod touch, your springboard generates whats called an application map. This is what connects your springboard icons to the apps and what makes the icons show up. When you install a program from installer, it adds the program, the cuts springboard and restarts it. Springboard is regenerating the map when you see the spinning circle or setting language. In cydia, when you install something, i just trys to regenerate the app map without shutting down springboard. Thats what its doin in the upper left hand corner with the spinning thing. Its essentially the same thing as the hard restart, only you still have the function of the app you are using. The reasing you cant go back to springboard is because its regenerating the app map, and so not up and running.
Please thank if I helped.
