Hey everyone,

Kinda confused as to all this jailbreaking stuff.

But I used PwnageTool when I first bought the phone and got Cydia and such.

Do I have to redo all of that after every software update by Apple though?

And how do I keep all of my stuff on my phone without it being completely wiped out by the restore - including my Cydia apps?

Yes, anytime you do an upgrade/restore everything gets wiped. Like formatting your computer and reloading the OS. And evertime you will have to re-jailbreak.

Only way to keep everything. Dont upgrade/restore
