Error: The iPod "iPod" could not be restored. An unknown error occured (6).
I did everything successfully...or so I thought..
Well everything went well, I followed every step. But right in the middle of when it is restoring (with the custom firmware) i Get this error: The iPod "iPod" could not be restored. An unknown error occured (6).
What am I supposed to do?
Like I said I followed everything 100%...
HELP PLEASE!
EDIT: I know I am doing it right, because I can see my custom boot picture when it is "restoring" my custom firmware.Last edited by TheCancerHasYou; 08-17-2008 at 06:12 PM.

This worked for me as well. I just updated my Touch to the 2.0.1 and had to use the iPod1_1_2.0.1_5B108_Custom_Restore.ipsw to get past that error message.
