did they officially jailbreak 2.0? someone at work upgraded and its nice, i jus want the AIM app he has, but im assuming i have to update the firmware completely... please help!

Yes you need 2.0

Yes, it has been jailbroken....however a method has not been released yet. Im sure it wont be long though.

wow thats tricky... im not on here often mostly cuz idk what im looking at/for.... how long do u think it'll take?... ill probably use google and search "iphone 2.0 jailbreak" but shud i be looking everyday or do u think it'll take a few weeks/months

No idea. Depends on how long it takes the Dev Team to code-up a program to allow us to safely do it.
