Can someone please help me.. i know that the best way to solve the own problems is reading and experimenting.. but so far i have 48 hrs.. without sleep.. trying to put my Iphone to work again without success..
This is my history..
I have a god and working phone. after i download some third party apps, butterfly, podometer,etc.. the next day it apears an error message that the iphone could not do nor receive calls, service needed.. and then i notice.
No WIFI, No Bluethoot, No IMIEI, No MODEM Firmware.

I have reade so many tutorials and try so many things so far that i don't know what to do next.. altought i am pretty sure that it should be fixeable..

So far i Try to restore to 1.0.2 with Itunes No work (error 1011)
Try to restore to 1.1.1 no work (error 1012)
so i try to virginize..on 1.0.2
but i am getting the following states over and over..

Error Failed to initialize Comm layer (it is open by another app?) when i run bbupdater...
i already make sure that the commcenter is down...

Do you know on some guide that could get over all this errors and how to solve them?
i will really appreciate any support on this..

It is back again..i took me 48 Hrs but it worth it....this is what happen..

After i wrote this post i decide to follow at this guide..

But in one step i screw really bad and i did an unload instead of a stop on this service "com.apple.mobile.lockdown" at this point i feel the world falling over me... i have a brick on my hand.. just the world was showing on the screen.. nothing else.. after that i try to put on restore mode.. and was bad.. just keep the little plated apple on the screen.. nothing else..
After several attempts i put the brick on restore mode.. restore with itunes to 1.0.2 and the jailbreake with ibrik...at the end of the ibrick jailbreake process it ask you if you want to restore to 1.0.2. i say yesy this time.. and it put the iphone screen white then start the restore process.. it failed and show error (1012) but ibrik show a message that that errror was just an itunes issue and try to reboot the iphone.. after that..just PACKAY..
and follow the above guide stp by step.. just with a little mod.. after stop the commcenter you need to reboot.. if not it will not allow you to run oteh comands it will show you that the the comm layer is being used or some like this....
AND DO NOT UNLOAD com.apple.mobile.lockdown.....

o i almost forgot this.. after all the process was finilized.. there was no Wifi active, nor blue tooth.. but after a reboot they came to live.. rmember reboot and Ok...

^ Google for MobileTerminal then SSH them in. And if you have no wifi, whats the point in having Cydia or jailbroken at all?

Restore in itunes in DFU Mode

Why is this thread being bumped so much???? It's from 2007. :/. And if you don't have wifi to SSH, you can use DiskAid.
