I had a jailbroken iPod but wanted to get 2.0 when it came out so I decided to update to 1.1.4, iTunes was downloading the update when I had to leave. I come back and the iPod is charging and iTunes is at the store without the ipod on the left. I tried to plug it in again but it just charges and isn't recognized. Also, my top button hasn't worked for a while so I can't use it to power off my iPod so i can restore it. Is there some way via a certain webpage or something I can use to get it to turn off?

Hold the top and home button at the same time for a few seconds.
