Hey everyone,

I recently used ZiPhone's program to jailbreak my iPod, and it went great. iTunes kept working as it did before. But suddenly, when I tried to sync last night, iTunes wouldn't recognize my iPod. My iPod still charged and my computer still chimes when I plug in my iPod, yet iTunes doesn't syncronize the files on the iPod: it acts as if nothing is plugged in. I'd really like to restore my iPod to COMPLETELY get rid of ZiPhone. Anyone have any ideas? Any help would be appreciated.

put your ipod into dfu mode and try to restore and do the whole thing over again.

Keep holding the sleep/wake and home button for about 10 seconds. Release the sleep/wake button, but keep holding the home button. you will hear some sounds.

See if that works for you and then try the jailbreak again.

First off, don't use ziphone. Ever. It doesn't jailbreak it correctly, and halfcof peoples problems is that they use ziphone.
Secondly. You need to restore and use pwnagetool or winpwn (mac windows).
To restore, put it in DFU mode. To do this:
1. Connect to computer
2. Hold down sleep and home for EXACTLY 10 seconds.
3. Release sleep, but continue holding home.
Now you're in DFU. Your screen should remain off and totally blank, and a little bubbe should pop up (windows) saying found apple device DFU or something like that. Then in iTunes, a screen should pop up saying you have to restore your iPod. Click restore.. Tada!
