ERROR MESSAGE: This iPod cannot be used becausse the Apple Mobile Device service...
I downloaded the ZiPhone application, and i clicked the jail break button. But on the iTunes, it keeps saying "This iPod cannot be used becausse the Apple Mobile Device service is not started." I have noooo idea what this means or how to fix it. It won't even connect my iPod to the iTunes. ! Can someone please help me so that it connects to iTunes?

PC or Mac?
On a PC it's a service that always runs in the background. Check Task Manager Processes and see if iPodService is listed as running.
If not, reboot and then see if it's there. If not, re-install iTunes.

Just restart iTunes. That's what I always do and it always works for me.

If I reinstall iTunes, will it delete all the songs that I ripped from CD's from iTunes?

no,they stay in your itunes library folder under music.

Try this:
Go to Control panel on comp.
administrative tools
services
find apple mobile device and click. Stop and restart service. you might have temporarily disable any firewalls that are running.
