I have to wipe my iPhone clean by 4:30. On a pc. I'm sending it to apple and decided to not ssh. Anyways so I was just gonna restore but everytime i click restore, itunes crashes When I look at the problem it says "APPCRASH" and I can't restore, even in recovery mode. What could I do? I need to restore. did i maybe uninstall something i needed?
This is what i would do. Download newest Ziphone for windows from www.ziphone.org Then I would connect iPhone to the computer. Restart computer. Unzip Ziphone and open ziphone app. Look under advanced tools and virginize your iPhone. Then connect to itunes. ...Itunes not connecting? Close and install new iTunes install. http://itunes.en.softonic.com/ After connect iPhone to itunes and do restore to 1.1.4.
I don't think your baseband (virginizing) has anything to do with iTunes crashing. I would uninstall itunes.. restart your PC... re-install iTunes. Put your phone into DFU recovery mode and then try and restore.
