I have an 32GB Touch with 1.1.4. Jailbreaking with iLibertyX worked like charm. Got an installer.app and could use it. Everything seemed to work just fine.... even syncing with iTunes.
Then I noticed my Contacts icon was gone and the Installer icon was were my Contacts used to be. Does anybody know how to get the Contacts back? They are *very* important for me.
When I Jailbroke my iTouch on 1.1.4 it took away my Contacts as well, I came to find out that it wasn't erased, just hidden.
Try this...
Go to Installer and go to "All Packages". Scroll down until you see an app called "Poof" and download it.
Poof allows you to choose what apps are visible. Just click on the tab at the top that says hidden and see if Contacts is there. If it is, simply click on it to restore it to your SpringBoard.
If it's not there you might have to download it, here are the steps...
1. Open Installer
2. Go to Sources, Edit, Add
3. (If not already added) http://jmiz9000.techdocrx.com/repo.xml
4. Refresh Sources
5. In your Installer Categories, go to the folder that says Backups for 1.1.4
6. Download MobileAddressBook 1.1.4
7. Let your iPod restart
