Hi there, quick question.
(I'm using a Mac with Transmit and have a 16 gb iPod Touch running 1.1.4, not important though, just for anyone that would like background info )

There is a thread in the iPhone forum (http://www.modmyi.com/forums/showthread.php?t=25120) describing how to do what I'm about to ask (I can find a lot about it on the iPhone, not the iPod Touch though...), however, I think it's different on the iPod Touch and am just wondering if anyone has any answers.

Basically my question comes down to this. I need to find the folders into which I can drag custom icons to use with Customize.

In the iPhone thread about this they tell you to follow this file path:
Var >>Root>>Liberary>>Customize>>>
And from there they have all types of options such as 'BatteryImages'.

However, when I follow this path on my iPod Touch, I get this:
Var>Root>Library>
Once I reach this menu I only have 4 options: 'Dockswap', 'Installer', 'Lockdown' and 'Preferences' with no 'customize' option...

Does anyone have an idea where to put my files?

I should have mentioned I tried that, sorry Stocis, should have been more specific.
Again, once I reach
var>mobile>library>customize
I'm only left with 'Audiobackup', 'DOPresets', 'HeaderbatteryImages', 'keypadimages', 'notepadimages' and 'weatherbackgroundimages'.
It's funny because things like 'keypadeimages' don't even relate to the iPod Touch...
Do you think that I might have to perhaps create the folder and put it under one of the directories?

well then you could just replace the original ones..

/System/Library/CoreServices/SpringBoard.app

Sorry for posting something that is so discussed, but how exactly do you get to these options? Do you need to jailbreak the ipod? And if you do, what are the possible risks?
