Ive jailbroken every device that was 3G+ But now I am trying to jailbreak an iPod 2G 4.2.1. Can someone give me one to jailbreak it? Thanks

It just says "Failed" Ive tried green poison a few times too. Its a MC model too if that helps.

When entering DFU with greenpoison keep holding the home button after getting into DFU until you actually see scrolling text on your iPod screen.

Keep trying, make sure you follow the instructions properly. It may take a few times.

I don't know what to say man. Ive tried at least 10 times. It continues to say "Failed" any other ways?

Ok, forget the instructions. Put it in DFU mode first. Plug in the ipod, hold the home and power button for 10 seconds. Then let go of the power button and keep holding the home button. You should hear a ding sound if you are on windows. Keep holding the home button during this time. Your screen should be black. Once there start greenpoison and press jailbreak.

OK I tried that twice. It loads.. loads... loads... and then stops and says "failed" I did exactly what your supposed to do. I have jailbroken tons of iPods for my friends and myself I ever jail broke a 2G but it was MB. This is the only one that is giving me a hard time.

Try a fresh restore. Also a different computer may help.

Ive restored it a lot now lol. But good idea I will try my laptop and see if that gets anywhere.

YAY its worked on my laptop(PC) I jailbroke 3 iPods on my Mac no problem today but this one wouldn't work. Finally worked though thanks a lot <3

Glad to hear it. Sometimes a new computer is all that is needed. Jailbreaking can be weird that way
