Ipod Touch 4G IOS 5.0.1 SONG HELP!
I download songs from Youtube so they aren't official mp3 files, and when I add them to my Ipod, all I can change on the song info is the title. I can't add the artist or album or the artwork for the album cover, but the music plays just fine. I have tried to jailbreak it, but I messed up and had to restore it, (back then it worked fine) and now it doesn't let me alter or add info to the songs I download. I have tried deleting the songs and putting them back in, that didn't work, I tried restoring it 3 times and it didn't work, I don't know what else to do! Please help!

I believe downloading mp3's without paying is piracy. Youll find no help from us. Goodbye.

I don't believe downloading from YouTube is piracy. Otherwise people who upload won't be allowed to. You need to edit the ID3 tags to change the info associated with the mp3. Not sure if you can do that on iPhone.

This isn't really the issue here...
Not that many people know about it, or they simply want better music quality, since downloaded music tends to not have as good quality as the music you can purchase off of ITunes. Originally Posted by ipodtouchman77

i usually dont like to just post links, but since im at work and this explains how to change an ID tag on an MP3, check this out. Maybe the ID tag is an incorrect version is my thought.
