iTunes Question

Okay I've been having alot of weird issues with my iPod and Itunes and this is no exception.

I added a few songs and decided I didn't want them on my iTouch any longer. So I went in and deleted the songs and resynched my device. I took my device out for a jog and when I came back in decided to put some more music on there. After synching the device again to make the music was there I noticed the songs I initially thought I deleted were still there. I go into iTunes and under Library it wasn't there, but when I go under devices in iTunes and choose my i Touch the music is there. I am not given an option of deleting the music when I right click.

Anyone have any suggestions?

Delete the songs from the ipod if you're on ios5. If not, theres a tweak for 4.x deices on cydia that will allow them to delete songs
