can I update my iPod Touch 2G from 3.0 to 3.1.3?
I know you can't downgrade from 4.0 back to 3.1.3 without SHSH saved but I was able to restore my iPod back to 3.0 and was wondering if it was still possible to upgrade to 3.1.3? I downgraded from 4 because of battery drain issues that weren't resolved from airplane mode/disabling wifi/push notifications/multiple restores. Thanks in advance!

Sorry on such a late feedback, but I believe you can, if you download the 3.1.3 firmware and shift+restore and browse for your firmware to restore to
iPodtouchman77
iPod touch 4G 32GB iOS 5.1.1
Please hit that THANKS button over there if I helped you in any single way

Its been long since apple was signing 3.1.3, without the shsh i do not believe you can do it. Would need to update to the latest iOS but if you are having issues with it i dont know what to tell ya, i havent had any battery drain issues with my ipod touch 4g
