iPod Touch 4G white screen after wake
Does anyone else have the problem where they try to unlock/wake up the iPod touch to unlock it but they are unable to because there is a white/grey screen with a few lines at the bottom. Well I keep having this issue and I keep having to press the unlock/lock button or home button a few times just so I can bypass that grey screen in order to access my iPod.

Never had this problem before. Have you tried a restore?

Sounds like a hardware issue. Have you tried taking it to apple?

I have tried restoring. And i really hope it isnt a hardware problem. Im using it now and every now and then the white screen does appear then i have to press the sleep/wake button again to get rid of it

Same thing happens with my brother's iPod touch, but not as often. I think it is a hardware issue. Do you still have a warranty? If so I would try taking it to apple.
