So i have a ipod 2g (yes i know its old) running 4.2.1
obviuosly i can't upgrade any further.
so is there like a tweak that can give me the iOS notification bar thingy (sliding down on the status bar to see notifications) for iOS 4? if so that would be very helpful!

mobile notifier in cydia is made by the same guy who wrote the new notifications for iOS5

You can also have a look at LockInfo on Cydia, which works a bit like that
