05-09-2011, 12:25 PM #1Ffffffffuuuuuuuuuuuu - forgot my SSH password!
I remember changing it from arctic so my iPod would be more secure...
But I tried to SSH in to it today and I cannot for the life of me remember the password!
I tried the 'passwd' command from terminal on the iPod, but it needs the old password in order to change the current password.
Help, how can I fix this?

u have ifile rite.. if u dont download it then do this:
)When in iFile go to Private/etc/master.password (don't press master.password.old)
8)Open it with text viewer
10)on the top it says
*this file is the authorization user database.
nobody bla bla bla
User:/var/empty bla bla bla
root:/ (here you have to write smx7MYTQLI2M)
so you have it like this:
then click save
11)After that Respring your beloved iPhone
12)And try again to login with username SU ans password alpine
