disable icon switcher and remove search page
I have a jailbroken iPod touch 3rd gen running ios 4.0
occasionally when I press home the stupid icon switcher will appear instead of it closing the app
is it possible to disable this?
also can I get rid of the far left screen thing on the spring board (go home then go all the way left to search) search thing? I never use it and want to keep my iPod with one page of apps
thanksLast edited by ultimatedood; 04-23-2011 at 11:05 PM. Reason: clarification

can't remember the name but there is a tweak in cydia that will disable spotlight, search cydia keyword spotlight and you should be able to find it
In the end we're all just chalk lines on the concrete, drawn only to be washed away. For the time that I've been given, I am what I am.

I used no spot in cydia until I purchased springtomize.

For the app switcher, just download Activator (comes installed with SBsettings also) and reassign the command for the app switcher. I have mine set to appear when I swipe up from the bottom of the screen xD
I don't recommend disabling the app switcher, because not closing any apps ever will eat your iPod's processor and battery. you should always keep your app switcher relatively clear.Last edited by Sean89us; 04-24-2011 at 01:34 AM.
