Itunes update~restore

I have an i touch 3rd gen. i deleted a system file by mistake and require a restore. Only problem is im deployed and internet is really slow wit downloads (12hrs for update) so was wondering if there was any other way to get the update so i can have my tunes back.

any help or ideas would be greatly appreciated!!
