How do you downgrade a iPod 4.3.1 so I can jb it

I'm new at this so no and I don't even know what that is

If you had a previous jailbreak Cydia/Saurik saves these shsh blobs which will allow you to go back to a previous version of iOS if you upgraded your iOS...without them you will not be able to "downgrade" your firmware because apple stopped "signing" the older firmware...so to boil it down you will not be able to "downgrade" your iOS without these files saved...
