Processor speed

This is probably the wrong section but I can't see a 'iPod general' section sooo..

But anyway is there any apps or tweaks or whatever that can be used to improve my processor speed?

I should probably point out that I'v only got the 2nd Gen so if there is anything that can improve speed would my iPod just melt or splode or something?

Nothing that will increase the processor speed. But you can try fakeclockup, works wonders on my iPhone 4.

Wow It makes my iPod feel faster when all it does is speed up animations.
