Native SMS app

Hi. I have a iPod touch 2g 4.2.1 and I was wondering if anyone knows how to add the native SMS app onto my iPod. There's a website (http://www.ifans.com/forums/showthread.php?t=322024) but I'm confused what I have to do. I already got the SMS app and SSH'd into my applications folder but it still doesn't show up. *note : I didn't change the "plist." list cuz I don't know how or what I'm supposeto change!* help!

I've never done this, but after reading the post on the link it seems like you need to edit the Plist for it to work.
