    Default iName "device" Glitch o_O

    So I own a jailbroken iPod Touch 4th Generation running on IOS 4.2.1 w/ GreenPois0n RC6.

I was attempting to change the name in the top left corner from iPod to something different. I used "Make It Mine" & "Fake Operator" both with no success. I then tried "iName". After I resprung my iPod, it says "device".
Now I can't even change it back to normal. Can someone please help me out here. Thanx!

    Yes,

I have tried many of the tools to do this... I am happy to report there is a fix. it is called ChangeCarrier in the BigBoss repo. will show ya it works in screenshot.. notice the red boxes. NOTE: Run Carrier & type in what you want, then before closing: click the "carrier" button. then respring... However I noticed that on mine I had to reboot before it worked.

to get those back u need ifile. go in ifile and navigate here:
    var/mobile/Library/Libhide/hidden.plist

and delete these 2 lines form it:

    <string>com.apple.MobileAddressBook</string>
    <string>com.apple.VoiceMemos</string>

After I fixed the name, I just backed up my things and restored but thank you so much for helping me with the name!

Default Can't get my Voice and Contacts icons back

Yes, Fake Carrier worked great for fixing the "device" problem. Unfortunately, I still don't have a Contact or Voice icon. I went into iFile, and found no hidden.plist file in /var/mobile/Library/Libhide

    Damn.

Anyone have any other hints for getting these back (short of doing a full restore)?
