No time on status bar

I have a iPod touch 2g 4.2.1 does anyone know how to get rid of the time on status bar? MIM doesn't work for me.

Try no clock status.

If that doesn't work, there's a thread where someone found a solution. I will find that thread and post it in a bit.

I tried downloading no clock status... But like after I respring, it's no where to b found. Is it suppose to be automatic, an app, in settings, etc

Then try doing what the thread I linked to says

I think SBsettings may be able to remove it.
