So I have a 16 gb non-mc iPod touch (2g) running 4.2.1 and I was trying to get dtunes but it said it couldn't be done because "depends: mobile terminal". Can anyone help???

That's because it needs mobile terminal to run. The creator of mobile terminal dropped support at 4.x but there is an unofficial port somewhere on the web that works.

So do I just open mobile terminal or do I have to do something else?

No, just having mobile terminal should let you download dTunes.

That is quite weird, you might want to delete it and download it with dTunes, that might work.

Yea it worked! But now I'm confused. Haha. So do I download the torrent from the app or from safari. And how do I start/stop the torrent from downloading

Now that I never got to fully work but I think you need Ctorrent from cydia, they should have the instructions in dTunes.
