    Do you mean "how do you set up Bluetooth?" Or do you actually mean "how does Bluetooth physically work?". The first I can answer, but the second not so much.

    To set up bluetooth go into the settings app then general-->bluetooth. Flip the switch on and turn on your Bluetooth headset, choose the headset from the device list, go ahead, go crazy.

    On any iDevice, Apple limits its bluetooth use to audio headsets and bluetooth keyboards, so you can't file transfer or internet tether with bluetooth unless you are jailbroken.
