    I jailbroke my iTouch 4g on 4.2.1 tethered and I can say its AMAZINGLY stable...

    This one is even more useless since when you plug your device in to activate it, it automatically goes to the lastest firmware.

    Just do a tethered jailbreak. it's not that bad unless you're one of those people who turn their ipods off at night.

    That isn't true at all. If the iPod is on 4.1 it will still be on 4.1 after activating it. Nothing happens automatically.
